Founded in 2010, the year of Shanghai World Expo and of the 400th celebration of Ricci’s death, the Institute aims at contributing to the ongoing dialogue between cultures and religious traditions, in China as well as at the level of  the global ommunity. It makes such endeavor an integral part of  teaching and research at Fudan University.
